LDD students gain significant increased confidence and employment skills through the Breakout Programme

People with learning disabilities have gained significant improvement in independence, confidence and employability through the Breakout Programme. This Pilot programme was developed in September 2014 and has had amazing success in its first year. It engages with young people aged 16 to 24 with a range of learning disabilities and develops the skills they need to lead independent lives, travel on their own, work, have enhanced social lives and increase confidence. The course also develops formal skills in English, Maths, ICT, Vocational Learning and Employability Skills
